1. You can use both syringe filters and stericups with a pump

2. It works like a breeze! if you have done filtration by hand you will find a pump piece of cake

3. You can do both! Altough filtration directly to the vials takes more time and you have to be constatly watching the vials! If you filter to a large vial it's very easy! (Thks PB for some tips here)

4. I have stericups here with pre-filter too, but never used them yet! So i can't answer correctly to this, but theorically you can filter, as long as you use a pre-filter, more than the stericup's capacity
