is it necassary to put the already closed vial in an autoclave after filtered with a 0.22 filter (bottle top)? Just wondering because I read about it... |

Not necessary. I only use a 0.45 micron filter and have had no problems.

Why the 0.45? Ive heard there is some bacteria which cant be filtered with this size...
