My training is now 3x6 With all the exercises I can lift more the next time I do it. accept for one exercise. I don't get it. It's with the cable side lats. I first do dumbel press 3x6 and then cable side lats 3x6. But I could't lift more the next time. So I changed it to first cable side lats 3x6 and then dumbel press 3x6. but still no progress. how is this possible, because I make progres with all the other exercises for all the other muscles |

side lates are a pain in the ass to do. either you lift through it or you don't..it takes practice and time. for now, just do what you're doing. if you feel you're not growing from that anymore, stop and change. you could switch to DUMBBELL SNATCHING lifts for a change

The cable lateral raise is alot more isolated on the delt making it harder. Use dumbbells, and it will seem that you progress in strenght and size with them is alot faster. They way your doing them, your probably really isolating only part of the delt, makeing the progress of strength alot slower. With dumbbells, depending on how you lean, your including the rear delt as well making progress for strength faster. One small muscle alone, making it stronger seems alot less noticabe than 3 muscles working together. There. I eited it 400 times.

as long as the core movements are moving (squat, deads, bench and heavy back work) dont concern yourself if your side laterals arent moving.

its not typically an excersise people try to go heavy with. the mechanics of the lift just dont favor heavy weights.
