 Limited exercise program. NEED help.


I hurt myself last fall(something in my hip joint) Never had insurance so had a physical therapist check me out and he thought i tore some cartilage and said it may heal on its own but unlikely. WOuld prob. need surgury.
Since then haven't been able to do much, but lately have felt good and can do more lifting.
So far i have been doing rack pulls, hack squats, leg presses. I still can't do squats, pullthrus hurt usually, and can't pull much weight on deads. Seems like anything that involves rotating hte hip too much is out. I can do GMS some tho.
My ? is i've been doing basically the same program for several months cuz i don't really know of many alternative exercises that i can do w/my fucked up hip joint.
My current split is back/bi's/(rack pulls on this day), chest/shoulder/tris, legs(leg press, gms, calf raises)
What r your guys suggestions???
My current program looks alot like the program on the deadlift sticky on page 6

I dont' see anything wrong with your current split, bro...unless you're getting bored with it. does stretching bother your injury??

no stretching seems alright. I couldn't do the splits or anything if thats waht u mean :P
seems like it is bothered most when the joint has to rotate much. (squats really bother it(but for soem reason hack squats don't usually)
deadlifts i can do w/light weight, but forget the heavy stuff.
Suppose i should just get the damn surgury

How do you know you need surgery? Did you have xrays or an mri done?

I say if it dont hurt...then use the exercise.
