im a male but, i havve this freind who is pretty but fat, shes been like that for a long time and goes through periods of binging and purging. I dont think shes doing it any more cause she got help, but i was wondering if any one can direct me to an article that i can show her on how to eat right or maybe like a 40/40/20 diet or somthing. shes smart so i think she can cantch on quik.thanks |

That's very nice of you to try to help your friend. Does she know about our board here? Would she be up to registering here? I think it would be more helpful if she actually got on here and posted her questions as opposed to us just giving links and whatnot. Just a thought hun.

I agree with Fyre. I think It would be benefitial to your friend if she asked specific questions directly on the board so that she can get a multitude of opinions and suggestions from all of the ladies on this site. I have had a couple of friends who battled with this disorder and it is not an easy thing to pick yourself back up again and start a healthy lifestyle. My prayers go out to her! I know eveyone on here would love to help.
