I'm sure it can be done at home with one of those home waxing kits....lol..but I wouldn't do it!
Let a professional do it. I think it hurts more when we do it ourselves....lol

Have her go to an experienced professional. My girl has it done. Hurts like hell the first time but gets easier with each subsequent time.
It's amazing! Mmmmm, so soft and smooth.
