 Start Up Question

I have been not lifting/not doin cardio/not dieting routinely for like 6 months and I've starting to get back into it again. How long should I expect to wait before I start finally seeing some results? I'm asking because I have this memory of when I got in shape the first time, where it seemed like it took a long time of eating right and working out before I saw a visible change, but once I did, it kept going. I want to have a time frame in mind by which I can judge my progress. Does anyone have any idea of what that time frame might be?

BTW, I'm 5'4'', weigh between 135-140 depending on the time of day, wear a size 9 pants (31 inch waist), and have basically zero muscle mass left. At my best, I was probably at 16% bf, weighed 135 with lots of muscle, and wore a size 5 pants (27-28 inch waist). Always natty, always vegetarian (eat fish occasionally though).

Muscle memory is a beautifull thing, girl.

You'll be surprised how quickly it'll come back.

I was out for AGES due to a surgery. Once back in it was leaps and bounds.

Here's an example. The left it when I first started back. The right is one month in.
