Hi girls, I'm currently using winstrol, 10mg a day/5 days a week. Can this affect my monthly cycle? I'm late right now and that rarely happens. BTW, I'm not prego - no chance this month.

A lot of women loose their periods when they're on cycle, so yes, the winny could be it. Everyone is different though. It's especially likely to happen if your bodyfat is low.

Pretty sure that would be why - after all you are messing with your hormone levels. I never have a period while I am cycling - no matter what it is.

How long do you plan on running this cycle?

Yep, perfectly normal to loose your period while on. Also, you want to keep blood levels as even as possible while on, so go to 10mg everyday. No need to take days off.

Like Techno said, how long to you plan to run this and what are your goals??

I'm with the other girls on this one. It's perfectly normal to lose your period when you're on. You may find it takes a while even after you're off your cycle for it to return to normal.

Thanks for the feedback - I kinda figured that was why I was late... just had some small spotting today - what a pain! I guess I just need to be prepared to leak anytime, anywhere now? YUCK! The worst part is not being able to tell my hubby. He would freak if he knew what I was doing. I wish I could tell him but I can't.

As far as my cycle length with the winstrol, etc... I have 10 weeks till my show (it's figure). I've started the first phase of my diet which is just eating clean. My carbs and protein are pretty balanced and I only have a junk day once a week. At 8 weeks, no more junk days and no carbs at night, then at 4 weeks I'm going to see how I look. If I need to drop more fat, I'm going to cycle my carbs. I feel pretty lean right now, I'd say I'm about 13% if I had to quess?

I'm using winstrol because 1) I want to maintain any muscle I have while I'm dieting. I know I can't put on anymore at this phase. And 2)it's all I can get. If I had anavar, I would be all over it. My plan with it is this: I want to keep the sides down as much as possible. I did start using it 7 days a week and I got pretty achey in my back and a very scratchy voice. So I went back to 5 days. Is this just completely a waste of time? I really feel strong, I've increased all my weights and I can now do 7 pulls ups very easily, where I could only struggle to get 3 about a month ago. I'm not holding any water and my joints are fine.

I was planning on doing this right up to show day. As long as the water retention isn't an issue, do you think 10 weeks of this will be OK? This is my first time and I really appreciate the help at this board.
