With all the mis-info out there about AAS, I'd like to ask some of the experts to help explain the specific role of AAS when "dieting". It seems alot of women get the idea that taking AAS will make them drop fat, because they hear/read about all the ladies using them while losing fat. What they might not realize is many of these gals are in a pre competition phase, or have very STRICT diet and exercise programs that they have been perfecting for a long time.
I understand that with added calories and correct training AAS may help increase LBM, but in a dieting phase HOW do AAS work? I'm interested in knowing how the drugs act to preserve muscle - or is this even true? Do they just help keep you out of a catabolic state? And, has anyone found they could INCREASE muscle while dieting with AAS? If so - how/what were you eating????? Thanks for the insight!
