Im in the middle of a homebrew and I made an error. can someone help me recover this? Heres what I did.
1. dissolved the pellets. (2 carts) for about 36 hrs.
2. Pulled off the top layer and started filtering through whatman filter.
3. decided I wanted to use the coffee filter half way through so I stopped and poured the remainder into the coffee filter. To get everything out of the 1st vial I rinsed it with 3cc oil and poured into the coffee filter.
4. preparing for the whatman, I heated the coffee-filtered oil/tren mix to thin it out, and alot of dark red solid precipitated out. this will surely clog the whatman, so should I coffee-filter this again?

Hmm, start fresh get it all through a new coffee filter and sterile filter it all into a new vial.

ok, re-filtered everything through a fresh coffee filter. then pushed through a fresh whatman. everything looks normal now. i dont know what all that precipitate was, but there was alot of it. I had the usual yellow gunk in the initial vial.

Good stuff, sometimes a second filtering is what it takes to get good results with pellets. Good to see someone keeping the old school alive!
