ok ladies ,... i'm about to embark on a training venture... i'm training a good friend of mine. she is a beautiful 6'1" black woman. currently weighing in at about 137lbs. inseam is 38" ...!!!!!! ... i know a LOT about training a man (as i am one),,, but what do i do about supplements for a woman? .. do i put her on a morning whey shake? do i put her on 1grm of protein per lb of body weight?.. looking to get her to about 16% bf if not less and very toned. please sound off and let me know what you all think. thanks !

hmmm... without knowing anything else about this woman it's hard to recommend anything. what is her current diet and training split? yes, protein shakes and 1g/lb of protein is a good idea. but what else is she already doing?

this is just it ,, basically nothing. she has asked me to get her "back" into shape. she has not had a good routine in 3 years ,, scratch that.. she hasn't worked out basically at all in 3 years. so i know that i'm going to start her slowly into compound movements and other weight training lifts,,, get her on the cardio and set up a diet that consists of about 2000kcals and 150g protein. she is 34 and has great genetics, sooooo she is a easy gainer for lean mass and always has a relatively low bf%. but as for supliments,,, i'm gong to hold her to whey shakes and flax pills.
i talked to a bunch of peeps on other boards ,, and seemingly women and men have the same basic needs,,, so i'm gong to train her like she is a taller skinnier (MUCHHH SKINNIER) me. thanks though.
