 stretch marks

Okay all the ladies in the house... How do we get rid of strech marks? I have thought about laser they say that it works, but what can we put on our skin to help get rid of them or make them less noticable? Anyone have ideas please chime in thanks....

There aren't any good solutions. One of the few things that can help is tretinoin (Retin-A) cream. There is actually some study data (using the strongest one available: 0.1%) that shows a improvement in the stretch marks, but it isn't anything like a 50% improvement.

PS Sorry, I can't help but ask. Are you really a stripper? I've only been to a few strip bars in Canada many years ago, but I have to admit there were some very beautiful women. That and the girl next door (well, down the block) that I was in love with as a teenager became a stripper. Er...I'm sorry, what were we talking about?

Oh yeah. Welcome to the board!

mranak...I am a stripper from HELL... Thanks for the input I think that I will try Retin-A I have also heard that it does help. Been lifting a little too heavy or dancing a little to hard. Whats up with your shoulder? Thanks for the welcome I am going to look at your threads to see what other questions I can ask you...okay.

Sounds like you are a pretty amazing woman.

The biggest problem about the Retin-A is that Retin-A is prescription only and pretty expensive.

Wish I knew what was up with the shoulder. Maybe I was training it a bit to hard and now it hurts to put any weight on it. Very frustrating. It seems to be getting better, but I'm an impatient guy I guess and having a hard time avoiding using it to lift when I know I need to wait until it is really healed.

See you around.

mranak...I am that impatient as well, I can get a script for retin-a but I guess I will have to see how expensive it is. Hope your shoulder gets better. Thanks fro the reply...

Prevention is easier than repair. Load up with cocoa butter every day in the areas your skin is being stretched. Also, take vit. E and drink pleanty of water. You can also apply vit. E oil to new stretch marks to help them heal faster and scar less.
