My gf wants to come and start liftign weights with us at the gym but i dont know much about female weight lifting, is it the same principles as guys or is their things that have to be modifed?
I guess coudl you post a sample routine as well. |

the same...i would rather train like a guy....some of the machines geared for girls make me crazy...like the ad and abductor machines!!!

Normally girls would like a longer sleeker look. Therefore they WONT bust out the heavy weight for low reps. Rather girls will normally lift lighter weights for high reps such as 15-20. If you want a huuuge bia, tell her to lift like a man. lol. Use lots of free weights for full range of motion too. PEACE!

i disagree...my girlfriend is 110 and does deads,deep squats, bent rows, t bar, dips, close grip pull ups basically my routine except she wont directly workout chest...and her muscles have a very nice shape to them, its the food that makes people bulky, not the training...i feel that this way helped her achieve her muscles she wanted much faster.

Food is a big part. And hey, if you have a girlfriend that is proof, then i cant argue with that.
