Is some states cops can get a search warrent if the person claims that "Yes I have seen steroids in such and such house, and they are stored in such and such place." In order for a warrent to be obtained, they must have personally seen the gear, but be cautioned that even without a warrent the police can do a weapons search for thier safety once they have entered a house, etc... so dont let them in without a warrent, and remember you are never obligated to answer any questions other than name, date of birth, etc...
