Raised levels of cortisol can lower test levels.
WHat is a good product for controlling cortisol levels? I would seem that something like this would be a usefull addition to a PCT regimen? |

Quote: | check out this thread in the training forum Top 7 Bodybuilding Cortisol Reducing Strategies | good link as for the debate on glutamine my personnal experience showed no changes/improvement on glutamine when on a maintainence or bulking diet . but i absolutely believe that when ive used it in the past on a calorie restricted diet my recovery was greater and i just felt better . everyone is different but i reccomend it to anyone cutting calories or overtraining , its cheap and has SOME health benefits as well .

Stress management. It cant be overlooked. You can pop a pill here and there but cortisol is VERY much tied with our daily human existance. Sex, laughing, day dreaming, and for the serious stress hater...yoga, meditation, etc.
Of course you'll always want to hit the protein source after each workout to begin to lower the unstoppable rise of cortisol during training.
