Just wanting to know other than diet to help me keep weight down. I tore up my shoulder had it surgically repaired. Been laid back for 1 1/2 now wanting to compete. But the one arm is there but not good for much lifting anymore. Anyone have ideas on how I can train and get size? Or is it out of the question I am soooo bored of cardio. |

What was your injury and what kind of surgery did you have to repair it?
I had a labral tear repaired a year ago and the shoulder has never come good. The surgery successfully repaired the tear but I have developed inflammation and adhesions which cause pain and restriction.
I still haven't worked out what is best for my shoulder and continue to experiment with routines. I suspect that it will never be the same and I just have to learn to work around it.
I don't think I was ever going to the Olympics anyway.

I actually messed up the rotator cuff very badly had it fixed. Completely tore the supraspunatus apart not only once but 2x and then also tore my bicep. Anyhow had it surgically repaired back together all the tears but yes left with limited movement not that I was going to be a top notch athelete but does it ever sux. And the worst part did this during a fall.

Talk to your physio therapist and ask. We don't know what state your shoulder is in, how your recovery has been thus far, etc.
