I am doing cardio on an empty stomach 2 times a week for 20 minutes, sometimes on rest days, sometimes on workout days. I workout 4 times a week. I am doing cardio to minimilize the fat gain (from the needed food to gain muscle's). But my question is if this is good. Because my maintenance is 3000 kcal and I eat 3300 kcal, but if I do cardio I just use the needed kcal to gain muscle. (My goal is to gain muscle's) Hope I explaned it right. |

yes, this is good. IMO anyone who cuts out cardio to gain weight isn't smart at all, esp if you using steroids. 20 minutes 2 times a week is not going to hinder your gains, however it will help keep your cardiovascular system healthy.

IMHO, cardio is good. And if my asthma wasn't so bad, and it wasn't so damn cold outside, and I wasn't so damn lazy....I would run a couple of miles right now. Instead, I just had some choc ice cream.

cardio is fine. as long as you don't go overboard with it. intensity is more important than duration.
