Protein powder is one of the most essential building blocks for muscles. Try to get in at least 1.5g of protein per pound of body weight. But dont take it all in shakes, make sure your getting protein from foods to. Id reccomend optimums 100% whey.

if i suddenly stop taking protein, will i lose all the muscle weight gained until im back at where i started? I know with creatine once you stop, after a couple of days you can lose 10 lbs (happend to me). And why is this new "100%Whey" fad so well accepted? what does it differ from normal protein? Why are proteins sold under diffrent names than Weightgains? they both contain protein right? what am I misunderstanding?
