From what I have learned from reading this site for prohormones to work they must turn into the target hormone. I am trying to do a college paper on prohormones and muscle strength. what is the target hormone that prohormones are supposed to turn into? Is there any research studies showing that they are able to turn into this hormone and if so are there any research studies showing this hormone produces muscle strength? I am assuming the hormone they turn into would be a steroid and that finding a study on steroids improving muscle strength would be easy to find. Thanks in advance for any help.l

Prohormones do not convert to a steriod. They are designed to convert into an isomer of testosterone. Each prohormone is designed to convert into a different isomer of test. For example, 1-Androstenediol should convert to 1-Test. You will not have any trouble finding out the effects of test in the human body, especially in atheletes. Do some research but shy away from reading bullshit ads claiming things like "233% gain in strength." Good luck.

I think your best bet is to write about androstendione or androstendiol due to more research having been done on these two compounds.
