 dbol and cholesterol

Is dbol very harmful to the lipid profile? I have read the profile for dbol and it does not mention effects on cholesterol.

I generally avoid orals because they are supposed to be unhealthy but I have some dbol so I was thinking about using them (20-30 mg per day for 4 weeks) along with some test e.

It can have a negative effect, but usually not an overly dramatic one. However in some users it will be siginificant. It simply depends on how you react to the compound. Here are some studies on the subject that reach various conclusions. They definitely aren't conclusive and some of the subjects were using weird "cycles" so they aren't completely applicable to most of our type of use but it is the best research available.

Thanks for doing the leg-work Aboot!

I do not know what to make of the first study (I'd like to read the full-text article). Were these six subjects doing dbol only cycles? It sounds like it. That would explain why "the weight gain of the group was not outstanding"! I can't tell if they are implying that one of the subject's "mild diabetes with high serum cholesterol, triglycerides and uric acid" might be attributable to the dbol. I guess not since they say, "the only possible finding was a high haemoglobin and haematocrit in one of the six subjects".

Sounds like the findings of the second study are good news (i.e., no significant effect on cholesterol attributable to dbol).

Yeah, I was actually surprised that there wasn't more on the subject especially since d-bol was the first popular steroid in production. But as always we can't really rely on the available research for our needs. We are left to be the guinea pigs ourselves.
