  Need a new supplement

 Need a new supplement

A good friend of mine has been training pretty hard for about four months now. He's been sticking to a strict schedule and now he wants to reward himself with a new supplement at the four month mark. He's already taking multi vitamins, protein powders, creatine, glutamine, and flax oil. I guess I don't know what else he can take. I pretty much already talked him out of prohormones since he hasn't really been lifting long. Told him I'd do some research to find something good.

The only supps that look interesting are ones that most people have doubts about (Tribulus, Methoxy, etc). Is there anything that boosts natural testosterone levels in someone that's NOT coming off a cycle?

Maybe a pre workout stimulant would be a good reward, but he's bulking so ephedrine might not be a good idea.

Are there any other good supplements that will make a noticable difference?

Might just have to tell him to buy some steak?...

How about some ZMA? ZMA helps with sleep and raises test... might be helpful becuase sleep is something many bodybuilders overlook and doesnt look like hes helpin his test stores from the list you provided

- u already are doing the basics which workrotein, mv, flax and creatine. glutamine is suspect to say the least.
- mv, flax already help with natural test levels. as far as other supps that are natural i would say save ur money for the basics u already have in there.
- the only other supps that might be interesting are the ''plasma expandors'' such as v2, v12, kreataine, satut8 and mid cycle
- look into stuff that helps with pre/post wo nutrition and help lower cortisol imho there lies the real potential for growth.
- zma only works for those who are zinc deficient!!!
- tribulus is suspect as well!!!
good luck
peace
