Need help understanding hypogonadism
Back in Dec, I did a 1-week cycle of SD. The sides were pretty bad. On the advice of a couple friends who had used it, instead of using a SERM for PCT, I used 6-OXO. They told me that 1-week on SD wouldn't even be a "blip on the radar" for my HPTA. My pre-cycle T level was 680. 2 weeks after the 3-week 6-OXO PCT, I had my labs done again. T was 297, FSH was 4.7, LH was normal, per the endo. Now, seven months later, and with nutts that shrunk (but have since returned to normal size and shape but are not nearly as firm) a libido that most 90-year old men would laugh at, and bad lethargy, my T level is 285.
The endo admits that all my levels are disproportionate, and that Clom would work to restore the HPTA and raise T levels, says he wont prescribe it because the LH surge caused by the clom would not work. And he wont even consider HCG until I'm ready to have kids.
Now, is that becuz the Leydig cells would not respond to my bodies LH becuz of the SD or what?? Are my Leydig cells fried?? SD is the first and only product I have ever used. It boggles my mind that after 7 days this stuff shut me down as badly as it did!! I've been reading this board and researching the forums, and while I understand that a SERM such as Clom aids HPTA Recovery, I still dont have a good understanding of why the Leydig cells arent very responsive, expecially after this length of time, to my own LH.
Can anyone give me a good explanation?

No other supplements, etc.? Seven days of superdrol should not have had such a dramatic effect.

Bro, I wish I had taken something other than SD...truth is, SD was it....my first and now last cycle. I did SD alone and only took milk thistle and a clean diet for support. My endo says that I am hypersensitive to the compounds in gear. I kick myself everyday for having done it...
Only thing I can add is that a dermatologist had me on a corticosteroid cream for a recurring skin rash on my feet....otherwise, nada...

Verysimply I think you need to do what I did when I found out about a year ago my test levels were low and the doc wouldn't help. YOu need to run a HPTA reveral cycle on your own. I got mine back up to normal doing so.
Mine had been impared do to a prohormone cycle with no PCT.
Personally I didn'y use hcg but it is suposed to be used. nolva and Clomid combo in addition to it is prescibed most of the time.
If your nuts are shrunk here is what I would tell you to do.
week 1 hcg 250iu MWF / 20mg nolva / 50mg Clomid Week 2 hcg 250iu 2x / 20/50 weeks 3-6 20mg nolva/50 Clomid weeks 7 and beyond nolva 10mg

Thanks for the info Rocco!! I'm shocked about how this has happened... my endo is really being a pain...when i first saw him he was hell-bent on puttin me on Clom...6 weeks later, and after my bllod tests show that I'm status quo, he says that it wont work.....ugh...
Rocco, after you did the nolva/clom cycle, did you T levels return to base line?? Any idea why SD or other type of pro-hormone can cause such a dramatic affect??? I just dont understand why things havent returned to normal yet?? it's crazy and frustrating!!
