I have a bit over a pound of pure creatine. What should I take with this? Any recommendations would be great.

take some dextrose with it to help with absorbtion or with protein powder

Take it after workout, ok with sugar and proteins (whey, if you can). Sugar restores muscle glycogen and helps vehiculating creatine and proteins.

yes, dextrose is corn sugar. you need a high glycemic carb post workout to spike your insulin to shuttle nutrients into the muscles for a quicker recovery. along with the dextrose, add in your whey protein and creatine.
how many carbs should one consume post workout? depending on intensity 0.8-1.0g of carbs/Kg of bodyweight. This is in the form of dextrose. My rule of thumb is that one level tablespoon of dextrose yeilds 9g carbs, so you can work from there.
