I'm cutting carbs down to about 20 grams per day again for the next while, and I was hoping to get away with having a bar or two a day to take the place of a shake or cooking.
Anyone know of anything out there that is reliably low on the carb count that also doesn't taste bad? |

Atkins and Keto bars. Also some Lean Body bars by Labrada, also try the EAS carb sense bars, some taste really good.

Down here in the States they have the EAS bars cheap at Sam's Warehouse. They have 25g protein and, depending on the flavor, 3 to 6 grams of carbs. They taste pretty decent.

Thanks for the input.
I wound up picking up Pro42 from ISS, and they are abominable. 42 grams of protein and heavier than the other low carb bars, but it is like eating papier mache. At $50 cdn for 12 I think I'm returning the remainder tomorrow.

myoplex lite bars don't taste THAT bad, but they aren't great. 25g protein, <5g carbs, buy in bulk for about 1 dollar a piece.
i usually buy the cookies and creme because they don't taste bad when i chase them with a cup of coffee.
