question:
What have you found worked best for a pre-work out meal to boost energy before a 30-60 minute work-out?
Is it natural food or supplements?

I find a whey shake and oats is easy on my stomach.. not too heavy..usually a lil over an hour or so before my workout.

I usually have a serving of oatmeal and a small portion of protein about 1-1/2 hours before I train.

i like muscle milk by cytosport pre work out. and i usually wash it down with charge w/ephedrine ( eca ) to get me going.

Used to be I'd have a meal or even just a shake about an hour or so before my workout. Switched to an early morning (5am) workout so I go in with nothing but a cup of coffee in my belly. No problems with energy whatsoever, but believe me, I'm soooooo ready for that post workout shake when I'm done. Then a full meal about an hour or so later. I'm good to go.
