Six years ago I had ulcerative colitis. My entire large intestine was remove except the last 12" which was kept to create an internal pouch. When the first of three surgery's was complete the doc told me that I should not drink alcohol and definatly not take steroids. I would like to know if pro hormones would cause me harm.
