Cold cuts?
If I eat cliced "cold cut" turkey from the deli every day, 3 times a day, is that healthy? I mean, do cold cuts have additives and crap in them?
Thanks. It just tastes sooo much better than normal turkey. | | Reply » Cold cuts? |
What brand? I've eaten some shmeat coldcuts in my day, I can only assume some brands are better than others.

Just the stuff they slice for you at the deli.

lol, what do you say at the deli, give me some generic turkey? Maybe I shop somewhere really different but I have like 9 choices of brands for turkey, each with a different price/lb. Sarah Lee is a good bang for your buck brand.

Alot of sodium and fats in lunch meats .....lean turkey slices or chicken would be your best bet

Ditto.
There is alot of sodium in cold cuts, and there are definitely better alternatives. Eating it occasionally won't kill you, but I would not use it as a main source of protein on a regular basis.
