please spare a minute for some advice please.

hi,
i have been on a low carb, low fat ,high protien diet.for the first two months i practically starved myself as i disn't really know how to diet propperly.basially was eating rediculousely low carbs,no efa's,but high protien.

recently i have introduced EFA's which i take 3 times a day in pill form(omega 3+6+9)

i have introduced more carbs such as oatmeal, potatoes, fruit, milk.

also i have introduced 2-3 portions of veggies a day.

ok that was a bit long winded the real problem at the moment is that where i have left these essentials out of the diet i am getting a burning sensation in my stomach all day and also chest pains.my body has obviousely reacted to the diet what is the best thing to get the body back to usual, high carbs, sugar, fats?.

i would be grateful for some advice

cheers

Your body may be adjusting to the fiber. If your having alot of gas that may be it. That may take a week or two to go away.

Did you slowly introduce everything back in? Or did you just jump right in...lol If you were eating low carb for a longer period of time and you rushed right into putting the regular foods back in your body, you body might just be saying to slow down a bit.
The chest pains are certainly not good and I would definitely suggest if they persist, to go see your doctor.
I'm also curious to know if you are taking any supplements that might cause the burning in the stomach.
Perhaps for us to be of more help to you, you could jot us down a typical eating plan for yourself in a day and we'll make some adjustments where need be.

i was a bit worried about ketoacidosis so i started wacking all the sugers and carbs back in yesterday tho.chest pains have relented a bit

my typical day
7:30 omega 3-6-9 pill(recent addition)
multi vit
ginko biloba extract (recent addition)

8:00 oatmeal or cereal(skimmed milk)
100g chicken fillets or alternatively tuna

10:00 100g chicken fillets low fat pancakes(recent addition for extra carbs)
12:30 100g chicken fillets, jacket potato broccoli cauliflower carrots(125g)
3:30 pre workout carbs cereal and apple, protien shake
ginseng pill (recent addition? no particular reason heard it was good to take before workout for a wake up)

4:30 work out 8-8 new training routine
15 mins cardio
6:00 powerade
125g veggies 100g tuna

8:00 protien shake with glutamine i think i may need to add some more carbs like i say i am looking to do this all year round so i need not to starve myself
