I am losing about a pound a day on my diet.
How unhealthy is this? I feel good, and have been getting stronger in the gym. I am going to try to keep it up as long as I feel good.
I'm getting about 20-40 carbs a day, around 15 fat, I have no idea how many cals I am getting.
I put 10 scoops of 100% whey in a gallon of water and drink it through out the whole day. I will also eat carrots, and some chicken or egg whites.
The last few days my food intake was extremely minimal, but not because I was trying not to eat food. Just didn't feel like eating. I think its the fat burners I am taking ... I think they are messing with my appetite.
FYI: I am drinking a lot of water everyday to.
As long as i feel good, can I keep going?
PS I am going to go have a burrito now - its my cheat day. | | Reply » I am losing about a pound a day on my diet. |
whoa. Just know that if this goes on for long, you will most likely lose muscle alogn with it. As a matter of fact, muscle weights more than fat.. so you might be losing muscle and fat.
I would seriously track exactly how much protien you are getting a day

On gear 2.5 pounds a week MAY be safe, but I would shoot for 1-2 not a pound a day.

your cals have to be REALLY low...
when you go off of it and start eating normally, you will gain A LOT of fat.
if you've only been doing this a week or so, it's likely water loss, but DO expect to lose a lot of muscle that way, regardless.

Where can I go to get an accurate bf analysis? That way I could try to maintain my muscle while losing fat.
I haven't noticed any loss of muscle, but that doesn't mean what I lost was only fat and water. I don't have very much muscle and I don't want to lose any of it.
How many cals does it take to maintain a pound of muscle?
