ok, so i bought these bars that i THOUGHT said "0 net carbs" ....and come to find out, it says "0 SUGAR CARBS"....so,....how do i know how many net carbs are in it? it says 15g total carbs, 1g fiber, 12g, sugar alcohol....any more info neededi can give..but can someone tell me how to get the net carbs out of this.i want to eat it so damn bad, but i have to stay under 20 carbs. |

basically, sugar alcohols digest so poorly that the total carb count reflects this. it's a lot like fiber in that way. also, don't eat too much or you'll be planted at the toilet.

bars are junk IMO. personally I would just count the total carb value..deduct the fiber if you want but thats it.

all all that ONLY 3 NET CARBS is bunk i think... i just look at the total carbs, but i dont eat those usually... they taste ok now days, but like i said, i'd rather eat my nutrients from real food... except for a boost of protein in a shake if i cant get real food, but those bars haev like 20 grams of carbs and 8-10g of fat, and 4-5 of sat. fat... so i try and stay away...

i read that link you posted sparkleynuthuggers (j/k) and it enlightened me abuot sugar alchols except it left out one important piont... how much alcohol % is it and how much of it do i need to get drunk?
