I need some suggestions on some good high protein foods, and high carbs. I'm trying to bulk up and am use to eating tons of chicken, tuna, eggs, noodles, etc., but am looking for more variety and foods that will povide me with more of each, carbs and protein. i also take whey protein shakes and wondered how much I could take in one day before it was too much. Right now I take it 4x's a day.

4x is a lot i think... depending on how much protein in g's there are per serving. fish, steak, chicken, turkey and pork have protein, steak and pork have a bit of fat, but wont hurt if your bulking. oatmeal, whole wheat breads, beans and veggies like spinach and broccoli have good amounts of carbs... bulking you can eat like 6 times a day and try to get 1.5g of protein and 1.5g of carbs and 1.0g of fat per pound of body weight each day... for me i weigh 205, so its like 300g protein, 300 g carbs and 200g fat, but im not bulking im cutting so its 300g protein 100g carb 100g fat... and im still eating all teh time... its a lot of work eating this much!

I would suggest cutting back on all the shakes and aiming for more whole food sources instead.
check the sticky at the top of the forum for TONS of ideas on food selections and bulking diet.

Shakes definitely help for convinience sakes. Try to eat foods that contain high amounts of carbs and proteins such as beans and lentils. These are packed with both macronutrients and when some extra protein is added to the meal its great for bulking.
