Hi,
Im 20.8 years old, and i was wandering where can i go and what do i need to say to check if my growth plates are closed.
I have a little problem that im in the army (im home everyday) and i cant just go to the doctor like everyone. i need to go to the doctor at my army base and tell him what is the problem. so i dont know what can i say.
Can you give me a good idea?

you have to get xrays done. How tall are you now?

Yup, xrays the only way.. say your ankle is bothering you pretty badly and complain till they xray you for a fracture or something.

By having a Dr. preferable a Orthopedic, X-Ray the growth plated in the shoulder. That will give you the best measurement. Good luck.
