If you plan on making more batches in the future, then I higher recommend bottle top filtration. There is a sticky in this forum about it. I went with the Nalgene filters from Daigger and the media bottles from researchsupply.net. I have had some difficulty getting 400mL through them, but damn they make things easy. In the long run, they are actually a better value for larger batches.

You also need a vacuum (brake bleeder avaialble at auto stores for ~$45) and a glass media bottle. You can use the glass media bottle over and over. I've heard the brake bleeder doesn't last forever, but I'm not sure how long it'll last. I kind of put mine through a lot last time when I was trying to get my filter to filter 500mL. Higher up front costs, but much easier. Start the filtering and get a beer. But many guys use syringe filters and complain instead. Each method has its merits.
