If this stuff can eat thru some plastics, wouldn't it be possible for it to maybe eat away at the steroid compound that you're mixing it with??? |

Oh boy.
Its simply a powerful solvent. It can and will dissolve polymers (plastics) into it, it dissolves hormones into it too. Thats all, theres no harm.

I suspect even water will dissolve plastics to an extent, especially with a little heat.
