Can pregnyl be injected sub-q?

Profasi can i know that. But in the directions for pregnyl it says nothing about injecting subq and only for intramuscular.

does anybody know why? i was under the inpression that any brand of HCG could be injected sub-q.

In cause you were wondering... heres the ingredients of both.

Profasi (says can be IM or Sub-q)
Diluent: (bacterisotatic water for injecting, USP w/0.9% benzyl alcohol.
Profasi: (Chorionic gonadotropin, mannitol, sodium dihydrogren phosphate, disodium phosphate.

Pregnyl (says IM only)
sterile lyophilized human chorionic gonadotropin plus 5mg of monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate, and 4.4 mf of dibasic sodium phosphate anhydrous.
the solvent is the same as Profasi just it has 0.56% sodium chloride.
