I did something really dumb 3 months ago. I maxed out on french press (scull crushers) and got an injury in my elbow tip. It was a little tear that sounded like a snap. It honestly looked like a spike. Now it is almost gone and normal. Maybe another month and a half. Why do these damn injuries take sooooooooo looooooong to heal? I know why, but it really sucks. It is so depressing and really sucks to feel useless and small because I am not supposed to work out until it is 100%. I can not stand feeling and looking average and pathetic. IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM GETTING REALLY restless now as it is 85% healed!
Please give me some injury stories of yours to help me have a bit more patience and maybe feel a bit better PLEASE!!!!!!!
I hate waiting... |

I feel you man. I had to take 7 months off lifting cuz of thumb injury
But you know what, injuries are great. You get a nice relaxing vacation, and time to research and come back stronger.
Just remember this... there's no problem that can't be solved by positive thinking.
When I was injured, I realized all my faults. I was addicted to supplements, couldn't workout without wraps straps and gloves, and overtrained like you can't imagine. I then got the time to research, and made an amazing come back. Just look forward to coming back better and stronger

Stay patient, the last thing you want to do is push now that your feeling a little better. You could run the risk of re injury and then you will really be depressed. Stay patient. You can do it.

Im a bodybuilder getting too excited with my strength. Not a power lifter. I was so dumb, but it had to happen in order for me to learn because I would not believe anybody.
