I searched around the threads but wasnt really able to find an answer to my question. I was curious if anyone knew how long it takes for scar tissue to go away? I know when I was 18 I had my tounge peirced, and when I took it out I had a ball of scar tissue and it took a good 3 to 4 months for it go go completly away. I havent shot for 8 months so I was curious if there is any possible way I could still have some scar tissue built up in my delts and glutes? |

There could be, but I really doubt it unless you were sticking yourself ALOT and caused some sort of hard mass build up at injection site. Scar tissure in muscle breaks down very fast as there is alot of blood flow there. With tendon injuries it takes longer because of very slow blood flow. Using your muscle also speeds up breakdown, same with massage.

Mine seems to flare up everytime I start a cycle(itching and a bit of swelling)...mostly just in my legs. Thats probably due to the hundreds of injections so that probably qualifies as alot.
I was under the impression that scar tissue never really goes away.

I was under the impression that scar tissue never really goes away. | Flaring up might not be from scar tissue, but in your case it might be. I also heard that it does not go away, but it does. It breaks down over time.

Also, in some cases like in an accident or something scar tissue will form to heal a tendon and it will get so hard and big that only sergury can get rid of it, but from pins, if you give it enough time like you did, chances are it is gone unless you really jabbed the shit out of a certain spot.
