ive never had the cough but i know i would withdraw the needle and shoot the rest later on.

I'd move the head of the needle out then aim it either slightly upward or downward and then re-aspirate and push the rest in. Now I say that but I've never had Tren cough so I don't know if it's violent enough to prohibit being able to re-inject
