How did those of you that were using Accutane from the doctors do Steriods at the same time? Since you have to have mandatory once a month blood work done while using Accutane.
Wouldn't your blood levels be so far out of whack they the doctor would think that the Accutane is messing up your levels and liver etc? And not let you continue useage?
Please list what you were taking while on Accutane and your experiences.
Thanks! |

Yes, gear can make your blood even worse. This is especially true for orals or AAS that fuck up your cholesterol.
Best thing to do is take a break from the AAS while doing the Accutane cycle.

No problem. But I used a low dose (40mg/day) as a safety. No acne anywhere and blood was good. Keep away from orals and eat well as always and you will probably be ok.

I went through the same thing. By month 4 my triglycerides were high and he was a bit concerned but nothing notably bad happened while on both AAS and accutane.
Id take a break from AAS if possible, but if not the monthly blood work will certainly let you know where you're at anyways.

This has a much stronger effect on the blood than 40mg/day, of course. I've been on the Accutane for 1-2 months now, but the acne is holding strong so far. Takes more time, but I'll win in the end.
