take your 1500iu amp and add 1ml to it. THat give you 1500iu per ml. Inject this mixture into your sterile vial. Add another .5ml of water to the vial. THis brings it to 1000iu per ml. SO on your slin pin. 1ml=100iu.

By adding water you mean sterile distilled water?

Yes.

Best if you store it in a sterile vial in the refrigerator, but you can also measure it out into three insulin syringes, use one, and refrigerator the other two.

You don't need to buy additional water, unless you decide you want to use bacteriostatic water, which technically is what should be used when storing in the refrigerator, but it isn't really necessary.

Thanks, guys. It looks like there are two ways to do it...

1. add water to keep the potency down per ml
2. split the 1500 IU in 1 ml into 0.33 mil and that would be as good
