 Lol almost got stuck today


How often do you guys get stuck? I was doing banded ME parallel box squats today and got stuck with 315 with a small band. The funny thing is I got stuck and sat back down and I was kinda far away from the supports and didn't want to drop it so I willed it up. It's crazy what the mind can do when bacjed into a corner. 1 more lb and I woulda had to drop it.

Yes. Moments like these are scary, I go through them all the time. Especially with squats, I never want to drop the weight, ever, so theres always the last bit of me that helps push it up, regardless of how fucked up my form gets or how much of an assclown I look with the constipated expression on my face

Whenever, I do heavy squats I use a spotter--no matter what. I have not gotten stuck in a while however, last week I did projectile vomit during a particularly brutal set of 20 rep squats--all over the mirror

Hahaha that was me with the expression today bro. If I thought I would hurt myself I would have roped it but I didn't want to look like a dick so up it went. Crazy because 4 weeks ago my 1 rep max was 245 a little below parallel with no bands and this week parallel box with 315 and bands. I should have known lol.

Bro I feel ya. i have to just keep moving like walk around in between sets or I will get sick. After 275 i almost puked, then 315 almost killed me. i did sldl pretty explosive after that and I almsot threw up. I am sitting here as I type completely nauseated by the fact that I have to eat in a few minutes.
