I guess I was raised old school...but I'm just now hearing a couple people on another thread saying they only train 45min. I have always taken closer to 90min. I'm thinking about trying the 45min approach now.
For the sake of arguement lets say training for BB/PL. Minus any special training for specific sports (working out at the driving range.) |

i usually train for about 1 hour. anything more is just too tiring to do.

takes me 2-3 hours but i take long breaks between sets.

it takes me around 1.75 hours to get through my lifting session. 10 minutes of stretching when I get there, 5 minutes of stretching before I leave, and about an hour and a half to work the muscle groups I have set aside for the day. I also try to keep my rest time between sets under a minute so that I'm expending a lot of energy and keeping my muscles pumped up. I want to feel exhausted when I walk out so that I'll sleep that much better when I get home.

usually 1 1/2 hours... 2 when doing legs...like PullinBig...too much rest in between....
