hand crimper question

I purchased 20mm unsealed vials and a 20mm hand crimper for flip tops.
Since the vials are not sealed do I need to purchase stoppers as well? And does the crimper work with the flip top and stopper, or do I put the stopper in first myself, and then use the crimper for just the flip top???

You will need to also purchase rubber or butyl stoppers. Either work fine. You plug the vial with the stopper by hand. Place the flip-top on the vial and then put the crimper head over the top of the whole vial/stopper/flip-top. Press down firmly and start to crimp slowely and steadily. Watch the side of the vial neck to ensure the stopped gets squeezed into the vial as your crimp down tight. Its easy and fun.
